Los Angeles, California Oct 3, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - Sensor Noise, a cosmic rock band led by Disney Channel child stars Allisyn Snyder and Dylan Snyder, along with indie guru Steve Arm, are releasing their fifth single on October 1st.
The music video will be released on the bands YouTube channel on the same day, and features shots of Allisyn Snyder in a hospital gown with silver hair and glitter tears wandering the streets of Los Angeles in a daze while two ominous figures in scrubs follow behind her. Despite lyrics like Thank God Ive recovered, Im California Sober, the imagery suggests that she will not be able to outrun her problems for long.
Regarding the new single, Allisyn Snyder says, I wanted to approach this track with both gravity and cheekiness. The term California Sober brings levity to a dark issue. In a city and industry where the use of marijuana and psychedelics are as casual as a glass of wine with dinner, and are available as social lubricants at networking events, recovery from addiction often takes a backseat. The untraditional mindset that sobriety does not require abstaining completely, but rather dialing back the use of substances can be dangerous.
The track features artist Allseeingpharaoh, who takes over with a bridge that comes in like a left hook. In contrast with the rest of the song which plays down the issues of addiction, his lyrics plead for help and admit to feeling like a prisoner in his own mind.
