Columbia, Maryland Jul 19, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - The Rotary Club of Howard West is pleased to announce Rawle Andrews Jr., Esq. as its new club president, effective July 1, 2025.
President Andrews will lead the club in its commitment to creating positive change through local and global service projects and thought leadership events.
Rawle previously served in various leadership roles, including president-elect and a board member of the Rotary Club of Howard West. He currently is the executive director of the American Psychiatric Association Foundation, a trustee of the Thurgood Marshall Center Trust, an adjunct law professor at Howard University School of Law, and national chairman of the public policy committee of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
"Some primary focus areas for our club this year will be on enhancing professional development opportunities for professionals exploring new career options, and expanding educational opportunities for the youth in our community. We also believe that increased collaborations with organizations and thought leaders, inside and outside of Rotary, are crucial for building a brighter future across Howard County and beyond. Moreover, we will continue to uphold Rotarys commitment to eradicating polio and supporting health initiatives worldwide. We cant do everything, but together we can do anything.
